I've had an idea in mind to make a bunch of handmade 'cause ribbon' jewellery to sell for various causes - and I figure that everything over the cost of the materials I would donate to the organizations supporting it.
Sounds cool. This one was a mother's day present a coworker bought for her mom who is a cancer survivor. I was asked to do some cheap bracelets for a cancer fundraiser for a friend whose husband has pancreatic cancer. Unfortunately, I was still up to my eyeballs in the Africa fundraiser. Sarah's would have been much simpler.. 4 or 5 designs in purple for pancreatic cancer. I've got 3 or 4 people who can help me whip up that sort of thing, so it's not such a huge undertaking..... Judy's already talking about NEXT YEAR'S Africa fundraiser... all I can say about that is........ FUCK!
